1. Do I needs to do anything to prepare?
Yes, I recommend using a softening solution, i.e. olive oil, 1 drop 2x daily for 5 days.
this ensures a safe and fast removal of wax build up.
2. If I have this done once, do I always have to have it done?
Not necessarily, everyone is different, you may never need it done again or you might
need it done more frequently.
3. How long does ear wax removal take?
Removal usually takes between 20/30 minutes, depending on the person and if preparation has been
done.
4. Do I come to you?
No, I am mobile so come to your preferred place of treatment, at a mutually agreed time.
5. What method do you use?
I use the same method used in NHS clinics, which is a regulated jet of warm water,
this method is safe, gentle and effective.
6. How do I know it is wax removal that I need?
Before any procedure is carried out, I always do an ear examination,
using a specialised instrument to look into the ear, if wax removal is not needed I will NOT
carry out the procedure and possibly give some advice to sign post you to your next step.
